Since you seem to be on both sides of the gamer culture, what makes them different from us? And what determines if a game has crossover appeal, such as Plants VS Zombies, Peggle, or World of Goo. Everything is match 3, HOGs, room escape, and time management, which traditional gamers don't seem to acknowledge, or aren't even aware of. They don't even use the same kind of genre titles that we do. They just seem like games meant for a different type of gamer than me and I'm curious about who really gets into this stuff and why. I like the art style of some of the mystery/horror titles, though I usually find their text fonts to be ugly. I find the graphics in a lot of these colorful casual games to be a bit too garish and hard to look at. It's just sort of strange to me that games like these are almost completely separated from traditional gaming, though I guess I don't mind that. Have you played that?
